Hi I’m Graham
I’m an Inverness based wedding photographer covering Inverness-shire, Highlands, Aberdeen-shire and the rest of the UK.
Photography has been a lifelong passion for me, and I put this passion into every wedding I shoot, always striving to capture the joy, love and emotion of your day. I try to be as unobtrusive as possible, recording the interaction between you, your family and your friends.
By shooting in this documentary fashion I can capture the true essence of your wedding, resulting in a collection of images that tell the story of your day. I won’t just be taking lots of shots of the bride and groom, I’ll be quietly moving around the venue to capture as many of your guests as I can so that I’m able to record those moments that you don’t see. I’m always looking for the best composition, the best light and I’m anticipating what’s going to happen so I’m ready to capture the moment.
Even though I shoot as a wedding photojournalist, I understand that most couples still want a few traditional bride & groom portraits and group shots. However, I like to encourage natural interaction between couples in order to create fun, relaxed images instead of stiff, set-up shots.
I aim to create images that are timeless and classic. I don’t incorporate loud, garish editing techniques into my processing, as I want your images to still look great decades from now. This is part of the reason I love the look of black & white images, hence there are many black & white shots in my portfolio. I do, however provide colour and black & white copies of all images on your disc so that you have a choice.
If you’re looking for a friendly, relaxed photographer to capture the beauty, emotion and excitement of your wedding, feel free to get in touch, as I’d love to hear from you.
